We at Libertine believe that the way people in Edmonton are living is changing. Home development was introduced to me at a very early age. Coming from a family of developers and construction owners, I lived through the era of building the biggest homes in the newest suburbs. And although there is a lid for every pot, I found those developments did nothing for me. They were just big boxes in the middle of no where, surrounded by an absence of culture, built by builders who didn't even live there. Less people want this type of home these days.

A home is more than just walls, it's a way of life.

A new generation believes that the community they belong to and the lifestyle it provides them is what makes a perfect home. We believe this because we live in the community ourselves and are your neighbours - or potential neighbours :)

Libertine believes that people want culture, convenience, lifestyle and creative homes. They want to be able to walk to get an amazing coffee, sip a cold beer on a Whyte Ave patio without having to drive there, or start their jog/walk to the river valley by exiting their front door.

We do not build basic houses in new sub-divisions. If that is what you are looking for you, are better off going with a larger mass developer.
